We are still very much in the full effect of eclipse season, and this one is a powerful moment within that cycle.

This Full Moon is a total lunar eclipse, meaning the moon will pass entirely into Earth’s shadow, turning a reddish-orange color for nearly an hour. This marks the last total lunar eclipse visible until late 2028—the final one we will see for nearly three years.

This Full Moon falls in Virgo, opposite the Sun in Pisces.

Full moons are always a time of culmination—a moment when something that began around the new moon reaches a point of awareness, completion, or fulfillment.

But eclipses intensify that process.

The Virgo–Pisces Eclipse Cycle

This eclipse is the fifth in a set of seven eclipses occurring along the Virgo–Pisces axis between September 17, 2024 and February 20, 2027.

The first of these eclipses began with a lunar eclipse in Pisces, setting the tone for this entire cycle.
